some tidbits about me…

Hi there! I’m Megan, but I go by Meg.

I am a lover of photography and all things that are breathtakingly beautiful. I am married to the love of my life who believes in me and gives me wings. He is the one who nurtured my love of photography long ago, for that I am grateful.

I dabbled with film in college, but didn't really embrace photography until my son was born and I went digital. Photographing my children and being a mother has taught me so much and shaped me in to the photographer I am today. Much like motherhood, the beauty of photography is found in the details.

The essence of my work is in the details of light, wardrobe, location, ambiance and emotion. I am a creative, natural light photographer in love with the process of creating artistic photographs and stylizing a personal and meaningful session for each individual client.

Daily Sentiments is where you will find little gifts from God that I see in my daily routines. The gracious blessings and charming things I adore.

My Mother Heart are my emotions about being a mom first, photographer second, wrapped up in pretty, storytelling images that typically feature my own darling charges.

My Style is where I file photographs that I took just for the fun of it. The images that define my style and make my artist soul soar. They are traditionally the product of some idea I have had swimming around in my head for a while.

Editorial Style Senior Portraits } Country Girl

Something about this photoshoot makes we want to blast my favorite Taylor Swift songs and bask in the memories of my youth! This girl conveyed her personality so well in front of the camera. All of her expressions are indicative of who she is, independent yet vulnerable, sweet, stunning, and just a little bit quirky! I loved the little details we pulled into this session. Her T-shirt, and her toe nails were her favorite color; a soft shade of orange dreamsicle. The ruffle on her skirt in the wind, a perfect reflection of a modern Marilyn Monroe. The playful fringe on the scarf her mom picked out, wrapped in the golden tones of her hair all charmed me to pieces.
