A rose says “I love you.” But a pink rose says, “You are gracious and gentle.” I took a walk the other night just as the sun was setting. This rose bush was resting in the yummiest light, I couldn’t resist it! The day had been uncharateristically difficult and I was emotionally spent. I was feeling everything but gracious and gentle. If you have toddlers at home, you know that some days are just a challenge. I was grateful for this little glimpse, it really put things in perspective.
